Cloth Napkins
I admit, this isn't going to save you a ton of money. But using cloth napkins will save you a few cents here and there, plus it is eco-friendly.

Hair Clippers
For years I have been cutting my husband's hair using clippers. You can get an affordable set for around $40. It will pay for itself in a few months. I use the longest attachment for the top of his head and the medium attachment for the sides. It's pretty hard to mess up a guy's hair.

Automatic Scrubbing Bubbles Refill
3/4 c rubbing alcohol
3/4 c hydrogen peroxide
10 drops dish soap
1 1/2 capfuls dishwasher rinse aid (JetDry)
Fill with water
You may need pliers to pry open the cap initially. Add all the ingredients to the refill container. To prevent spills, put the bottom part (with buttons) on top of the refill container, then turn upside down.

Homemade Baby Wipes
Ingredients:
Round plastic container (ice cream container works well)
Thick, strong roll of white paper towels
Sharp knife (serrated works best)
2 cups boiled water, cooled to room temperature
2 tablespoons baby shampoo or baby wash
1 tablespoon baby oil
- Cut the roll of paper towels in half with a knife and remove the inner cardboard core.
- Mix liquid ingredients in container.
- Place the paper towels in the container with the cut side facing downward.
- Secure lid tightly and allow to sit until all liquid is absorbed into the paper towels.
- Turn the container upside-down and allow to sit for 10 minutes.
- Open container and start the roll by pulling a towel from the inside of the roll.
(I need to give credit to my mom who used these in the early 90s with my sister)

Target Hand Soap
One of my most favorite things in the world is Target's Milk and Honey Moisturizing Hand Soap. It's inexpensive and versatile. A 64 oz bottle is $4 and will last a long time. Even though it's a hand soap, I use it as a shower/bath gel and a refill for all my bathroom hand soaps. You can also use it to refill your foaming hand soap, just add a small amount and fill the rest of the bottle with water.
